What the work can include
Interior remodeling
Room updates, wall and ceiling finishes, flooring coordination, trim and doors can be planned as one connected scope rather than a collection of unrelated repairs.
Selective demolition & rebuilding
Opening up finishes can reveal conditions that are not visible at the first visit. We discuss what is being removed, what stays and how unexpected findings will be reviewed before the scope changes.
Finishing & practical details
Transitions between rooms, straight trim lines, door clearances and the last paint touch-ups make a difference to everyday use. Include these details in the project list from the beginning.
Before the work begins
For an occupied home, identify the rooms you need to keep using and whether furniture can move out of the work area. In an apartment building, ask management about contractor paperwork, work hours, elevator reservations and protection of shared corridors. Share those requirements before a start date is discussed. For an empty property, tell us about keys, access and any move-in deadline.
What affects the estimate?
The number of rooms alone does not determine renovation cost. Demolition, existing wall and floor conditions, layout changes, finish selections, access and coordination all affect the scope. A surface refresh and a rebuild may look similar in an inspiration photo but require very different work. Separate must-have repairs from optional upgrades so the estimate can reflect your priorities.
What to send with your request
- Property address, building type and whether the space is occupied
- Photos of each room and the conditions you want to change
- A list of rooms, finishes and any proposed layout changes
- Building requirements, target timing and budget range
Questions about home & apartment renovations
Can I renovate only part of my apartment?
Yes. Share the rooms or areas you want to update. We can discuss a focused scope and how it connects to the rooms that will remain in use.
Can a renovation be completed while I live at home?
That depends on the work, access and whether essential rooms stay usable. Tell us your living arrangements so we can discuss sequencing before work is scheduled.
Do you handle full gut renovations?
Full renovation and rebuilding projects can be discussed. The final scope, plans, approvals and any specialist trade requirements must be reviewed for the specific property.
Planning your next step
Start with a clear description of the work, rather than trying to diagnose every hidden condition yourself. Share the property location and photos, then identify which items matter most. We can discuss whether a site review or more information is needed before an estimate is prepared.
